Definition
What is resume & LinkedIn writing?
Resume and LinkedIn writing means presenting a person's experience, skills and achievements so that recruiters and hiring managers understand quickly why they fit a role.
Most CVs list duties instead of results, bury the strongest experience halfway down the page and use the same version for every application. Recruiters skim for seconds before deciding whether to read on. A clear, targeted CV and a consistent LinkedIn profile make sure the right things are seen first.
Who is it for?
Tech professionals
Developers, designers and product people who need their work to read clearly to non-technical recruiters.
People moving countries
CVs adapted to German, Swiss, UK or North American conventions.
Career changers
Transferable skills presented for a new field.
Graduates
Projects, internships and studies presented as evidence of ability.

From duties to achievements
"Responsible for the company website" tells a recruiter what you were assigned. "Rebuilt the company website, cutting load time and moving the team to a CMS they could update themselves" tells them what changed because of you. We interview you to find those outcomes, including numbers where you have them and honest descriptions where you don't.
We never invent achievements, titles or qualifications. Everything on the page must be something you can explain confidently in an interview.
Conventions differ by country
| Market | Typical expectations |
|---|---|
| Germany, Austria, Switzerland | Lebenslauf with clear dates, often a photo and personal details; formal tone; certificates on request |
| United Kingdom and Ireland | Two-page CV, no photo, short personal statement |
| United States and Canada | One- or two-page resume, no photo or personal details, results first |
| Kosovo and Albania | Varies by employer; international companies often expect English CVs |
Applicant tracking systems
Many employers screen applications with software before a person reads them. These systems struggle with tables, text boxes, images and unusual headings. We use clean layouts and standard section names, and we reflect the language of the roles you target where it honestly matches your experience.
LinkedIn is more than a copy of your CV
Recruiters search LinkedIn by keywords and read the headline and About section first. We write a headline that says what you do and for whom, an About section in a natural first-person voice, and experience entries that match your CV without repeating it word for word.
What to send us
- Your current CV and LinkedIn profile link
- Two or three job adverts you'd apply for
- Any performance reviews or project summaries
- Certificates and courses worth mentioning
- Countries and languages you're targeting
Presenting technical work to non-technical readers
Recruiters and HR teams often screen developers, designers and engineers before a technical person sees the application. A list of frameworks doesn't tell them much. We describe what you built, who used it and what improved, then list the technologies in context, so both the recruiter and the technical interviewer find what they need.
Links to a portfolio, GitHub profile or published work are placed where they will be seen, with a short note on what each one shows.
Applying from Kosovo or Albania to roles abroad
Many professionals in the region apply for remote roles or jobs in Germany, Switzerland and the UK. Employers there may not recognise local company names, degrees or titles. We add short context where it helps, such as what a company does or how a qualification compares, and we explain work permits or remote availability clearly when it matters to the role.

Common mistakes to avoid
What we see go wrong most often, and how a good project avoids it.
One CV for every application
Tailor the summary and the order of experience to each role.
Listing duties
Show what changed because of your work, not just what you were assigned.
Fancy layouts
Columns, icons and graphics often break applicant tracking systems.
A LinkedIn profile that contradicts the CV
Different dates or titles raise doubts. Keep them consistent.
Frequently asked questions
Do you write CVs in German?
Yes. We write German CVs following German, Austrian and Swiss conventions, as well as English and Albanian versions.
Will my CV pass applicant tracking systems?
We use clean, standard formatting that these systems read well, and reflect the language of your target roles where it truly fits your experience.
Can you update my LinkedIn profile directly?
We provide the text ready to paste. You update the profile yourself, so your account stays in your control.
Do you guarantee interviews?
No one can honestly guarantee that. A clear, targeted CV improves how your experience is understood; the job market and your fit decide the rest.
Can you help with a career change?
Yes. We identify transferable skills and present them for the new field, without overstating your experience.
Do you write cover letters?
Yes, as a template you can adapt for each application.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds of revisions on the drafts.
How is resume writing priced?
It is quoted on your experience level, the documents you need and the number of language versions.
Should my CV include a photo?
It depends on the country. Photos are common in German-speaking countries and usually left out in the UK, US and Canada. We follow the convention of your target market.
How long should my CV be?
Usually one or two pages, depending on your experience and the country. Senior profiles and academic CVs can be longer.
Can you write my CV in two languages?
Yes. We prepare matching versions, for example in English and German, adapted to each market rather than translated word for word.
Can you help me prepare for interviews too?
We can go through the questions your CV is likely to raise and help you describe your achievements clearly and concisely.
Will I be able to update the CV myself later?
Yes. You receive editable Word or Google Docs files with a simple layout that's easy to keep up to date.
Do you write academic CVs?
We can, with sections for publications, teaching and research, following the conventions of your field and country.
