What is CRM & ERP development?
A CRM (customer relationship management) system tracks customers, contacts, deals and communication. An ERP (enterprise resource planning) system manages operations such as inventory, purchasing, production, orders and finance. Many businesses need parts of both.
Spreadsheets don't scale, and five disconnected tools leak time at every hand-off. The right system depends on how standard your process is: if it's close to how most companies sell or operate, configuring an existing platform is faster and cheaper. If your process is your advantage, a custom system adapts to you instead of the other way round. We'll recommend honestly.
Who is it for?
Sales teams outgrowing spreadsheets
Deals, follow-ups and forecasts tracked in sheets and inboxes, with nothing reliable to report from.
Manufacturers and wholesalers
Stock, purchasing, production and orders need to be planned together, not in separate tools.
Project-based businesses
Construction, agencies and consultancies tracking jobs, resources, time and invoicing.
Teams unhappy with their current CRM
You pay for a platform nobody uses properly. We reconfigure it or replace it.

Why do CRM projects fail, and how do we prevent it?
Most CRM failures aren't technical. The system is set up, but the team doesn't use it, so data is incomplete and reports are wrong, so managers stop trusting it, so the team uses it even less.
We prevent that loop by designing around the people entering the data: as few required fields as possible, automation that saves them work, mobile access for people on the road, and reports that are useful to the team, not only to management.
Adoption also needs an owner. We help you define who maintains the pipeline stages, cleans data and decides on changes, and we train that person to do it.
Platforms we configure
HubSpot
Marketing, sales and service in one, strong for inbound-led businesses.
Salesforce
Highly configurable for complex sales organisations.
Pipedrive and Zoho
Focused, affordable CRMs for smaller sales teams.
Odoo
Open-source ERP covering inventory, manufacturing, accounting and more.
Signs it's time for a proper CRM or ERP
- Deals are lost because follow-ups are forgotten
- Nobody trusts the sales forecast
- Stock levels are checked by walking to the warehouse
- The same customer data is typed into several tools
- Month-end reporting takes days of spreadsheet work
- Knowledge leaves with every employee who leaves

Tools, and what shapes your quote
Pricing is based on your project and agreed in your quote. These are the things that move it.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Configure or build | Configuring an existing platform usually costs less upfront than a custom system. |
| Number of processes | Sales only is simpler than sales plus inventory, purchasing and finance. |
| Data migration | Messy data spread across many sources takes time to clean and import. |
| Integrations | Each connected tool (email, accounting, store, phone) adds work. |
| Users and roles | More teams and permission levels need more design and training. |
| Licences | Platform subscriptions are paid directly to the vendor and scale with users. |
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| CRM platforms | HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM |
| ERP | Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP integrations |
| Custom | Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL |
| Integration | REST APIs, webhooks, n8n, Make |
Common mistakes to avoid
What we see go wrong most often, and how a good project avoids it.
Too many required fields
If entering a deal takes ten minutes, people stop entering deals. Ask only for what you use.
Migrating dirty data
Importing duplicates and outdated records into a new system just moves the mess.
Copying the old process exactly
A new system is a chance to remove steps nobody needs anymore.
No owner after launch
Without someone responsible for data quality and changes, the system slowly decays.
Frequently asked questions
Can you manage our CRM after it goes live?
Yes. Our business operations team can run day-to-day CRM administration: keeping data clean, assigning leads, maintaining automations and reports, adding users and training new staff, on an hourly or part-time basis.
Should we build a custom CRM or use HubSpot or Salesforce?
If your sales process is fairly standard, configure an existing platform. Build custom when your workflow is unusual, when per-seat pricing becomes expensive or when the system is core to how you compete.
Can you migrate our data from spreadsheets?
Yes. We clean, de-duplicate and import data from spreadsheets or old systems, and validate it with you before go-live.
Do you train our team?
Yes. Role-based training sessions and written guides, plus support while the team adapts.
Can the CRM connect to our email and calendar?
Yes, Gmail and Outlook email and calendars, so conversations and meetings are logged automatically.
Can you connect the CRM to our accounting software?
Yes. Quotes, invoices and payments can sync with Xero, QuickBooks and similar tools.
Can you fix a CRM nobody uses?
Yes. We review why adoption failed, simplify the set-up, clean the data and retrain the team.
Do you implement full ERP systems?
We implement Odoo and build custom ERP modules for small and mid-sized businesses. Very large ERP roll-outs need specialist implementation partners.
Who owns the data?
You do. Platform data stays in your account; custom systems run on your own cloud with full database access.
Can sales reps use it on their phones?
Yes. Major platforms have mobile apps, and custom systems are built responsive or with a companion app.
What about GDPR?
We set up consent fields, data retention rules and deletion processes so you can respond to data requests.
How long until the team is comfortable with the new system?
Adoption depends on how much the system changes daily work. We plan training per role and stay available after launch so questions don't become reasons to go back to spreadsheets.
Can you automate follow-ups and reminders?
Yes, automatic tasks after meetings, reminder emails for unanswered quotes, alerts when deals stall and sequences for new leads.
Can we start with CRM and add ERP later?
Yes. Many clients start with sales and customers, then add inventory, purchasing or invoicing once the CRM is in daily use.
What reports will we get?
Typically pipeline and forecast, sales activity, win and loss reasons, and for ERP set-ups stock, purchasing and margin reports, tailored to the decisions your managers make.
