Definition
What is online tutoring?
Online tutoring is personalised teaching delivered over video, with lessons, practice and feedback built around one learner's goals and level.
Courses and videos are good at explaining; they are less good at noticing exactly where you get stuck. A tutor watches you work, corrects mistakes early and adjusts the pace. Our tutors teach the same languages and tools they use in client projects, so lessons stay practical.

How lessons work
The first session is a short assessment: what you want to be able to do, what you know already, and how much time you have to practise. From that we write a plan with milestones you can check, such as holding a work meeting in German or publishing your first website.
Lessons are practical. Coding and design learners work on a real project from the start; language learners practise situations they will meet at work or in daily life.
Teaching children and teenagers
We teach younger learners only with a parent or guardian's consent, and we agree with the family how lessons are scheduled and how progress is shared. Parents can join or observe lessons at any time.
What you need for online lessons
- A laptop or desktop computer
- A stable internet connection
- A headset or earphones with a microphone
- The software for your subject, where needed
- A quiet place to work
English and German for work
Many learners don't need more grammar drills; they need confidence in the situations they face at work: meetings, presentations, emails, interviews and small talk with clients. We build lessons around those situations, using your real documents and scenarios where you can share them.
For people moving to German-speaking countries, lessons can include the practical German of daily life, from appointments and forms to conversations with colleagues.
Learning to code or design as an adult
Adults learning technical skills usually have limited time and a specific goal: a career change, a side project, or understanding the developers they work with. We skip what you don't need and focus on building something real, so every lesson moves a project forward.
By the end of a coding or design programme you should have work you can show: a published site, a small app or a set of interface designs, with an understanding of how it was made.

Tools, and what shapes your quote
Pricing is based on your project and agreed in your quote. These are the things that move it.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Number of lessons | A longer programme needs more teaching time. |
| One-to-one or group | Group lessons spread the time across several learners. |
| Subject | Specialist technical subjects may need more preparation. |
| Materials | Custom exercises, projects and recordings add preparation. |
| Feedback outside lessons | Detailed review of assignments takes extra time. |
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| Lessons | Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams |
| Coding | VS Code, GitHub, CodeSandbox |
| Design and video | Figma, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut |
| Materials | Google Docs, Notion, shared folders |
Common mistakes to avoid
What we see go wrong most often, and how a good project avoids it.
No clear goal
Lessons without a target drift. Name the thing you want to be able to do.
No practice between sessions
Progress comes from practice; the lesson is where you get corrected.
Learning tools without a project
A real project makes skills stick far better than isolated exercises.
Waiting to feel ready
Starting at your current level is always fine; that's what the assessment is for.

Yes. Lessons can be taught in English, Albanian or German, whichever helps you learn best.
Do you teach Albanian to non-native speakers?
Yes, including learners from the diaspora who understand some Albanian but want to speak and write with more confidence.

What if I miss a lesson?
Let us know in advance and we will move it. The rules for late cancellations are agreed when you book.
Do I get homework?
Yes, if you want it. Short exercises or project tasks between lessons make the biggest difference to progress.
