What does Gjethe do?
Gjethe is a software development agency in Prishtina, Kosovo. We build websites, mobile apps, Chrome extensions, web applications and automation tools, and offer design, SEO, marketing, video and AI services, everything digital under one roof.
Where are you located?
In Prishtina, Kosovo. We work remotely with clients across Europe and North America, including Germany, Switzerland, the UK, the Netherlands, the USA and Canada.
What languages do you work in?
Albanian, English and German. We build multi-language websites in any language your business needs.
Who will work on my project?
Specialists in web development, AI engineering, design, SEO and GEO, advertising, editing, cybersecurity and project management, supported by a sales team. Every project has a project manager and the specialists it needs.
Working with a Europe-based team
Why work with a team in Kosovo?
You get a Europe-based team on Central European Time, work in English, Albanian or German, and competitive rates made possible by lower local costs. Every project is quoted on its own scope, and you talk directly to the people doing the work.
Is Gjethe EU-based?
We are Europe-based. Kosovo is in Europe but is not a member of the European Union, so we don't describe ourselves as EU-based.
Are you the cheapest option?
We don't aim to be. We aim for European-quality work at competitive rates, with a written scope, revision rounds agreed in your quote and support after launch arranged to fit your project.
How is this different from hiring on Upwork or Fiverr?
Marketplaces are a good way to hire individual freelancers for clear tasks. We add a team that covers absences, project management and one contact across design, development, content and marketing. Our comparison page explains both fairly.
Pricing & quotes
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the project: scope, complexity, integrations, content volume, urgency and ongoing support. We don't publish fixed prices; you get a written quote for your project after a free consultation, and the quoted price is the price you pay.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price we quote is the price you pay, no surprise invoices, no padded budgets.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Larger projects are usually split into milestones, for example 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes, always. No obligation and no pressure. You get an honest assessment even if we are not the right fit.
Planning
How long will my project take?
Every project stands on its own, so we don't publish standard durations. We agree the milestones and launch date with you in the fixed quote, based on scope, content and how quickly decisions can be made.
Can you work to a fixed deadline?
Often, yes. If you have a date that can't move, tell us in the consultation and we'll say honestly whether it's achievable and what scope fits.
What do you need from us to keep things moving?
Content, feedback and approvals at each milestone. Projects run smoothly when one person on your side can make decisions.
Technology
What technologies do you use?
Next.js, React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, React Native, Node.js, Python, WordPress, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Vercel, AWS and more. We choose the best tool for each project.
Do you build for iOS and Android?
Yes. We use React Native, so you get both an iOS and an Android app from a single codebase.
Can I edit the website myself after launch?
Yes. We integrate a CMS (WordPress, Sanity or a custom admin) so you can update content without a developer.
SEO & marketing
Is SEO included in web development?
Yes. Every website includes technical SEO (meta tags, structured data, sitemap and speed optimisation) plus structure for AI search.
Do you manage ad campaigns?
Yes. Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), with management quoted per project and ad spend paid to the platform directly.
Do you optimise for AI search?
Yes. We structure websites so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews can understand and cite them. This is included in every build.
Working together
Do I own the code?
Yes, 100%. Once the project is paid for, the code, design files and all assets are yours.
What if I need changes after launch?
Post-launch support is agreed in your quote: a support period for fixes and small changes, a maintenance plan, or a monthly retainer, depending on the project.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We work across time zones and communicate via Slack, Zoom, email or WhatsApp.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We are happy to sign NDAs for confidential projects, especially for startups and product work.
