What is Meta ads?
Meta Ads management is running paid advertising on Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp) including tracking, audience strategy, creative production, testing and budget optimisation.
Meta ads don't wait for people to search; they reach people while they scroll. That makes creative the deciding factor: the first second of a video or the first line of copy determines whether anyone stops. Behind the creative, accurate tracking lets Meta's algorithm find more of the people who actually buy. We work on both, every week.

Why creative is the main lever on Meta
Meta's targeting has become largely automated: with good tracking, broad audiences often perform as well as detailed interests, because the algorithm finds likely buyers itself. What it can't do is make your ad interesting. Creative now carries most of the targeting work, the hook, the format and the message decide who stops scrolling.
That's why we test creative continuously: different hooks, formats, lengths and angles, each answering a different reason to buy. Winners get budget; losers are replaced. Because audiences tire of the same ad, a steady supply of fresh creative keeps results from fading.
Which Meta campaign objective fits your goal?
| Goal | Objective | Measured by |
|---|---|---|
| Online sales | Sales | Purchases and return on ad spend |
| Enquiries | Leads | Cost per qualified lead |
| App growth | App promotion | Installs and in-app events |
| Local awareness | Awareness or traffic | Reach in your area and store visits |
| Conversations | Engagement (messaging) | Messages started on WhatsApp or Messenger |
Creative formats we produce
Vertical video
Reels and Stories ads with a strong first second and captions for sound-off viewing.
Static images
Clear, scroll-stopping images that communicate the offer at a glance.
Carousels
Several products or benefits in one swipeable ad.
UGC-style ads
Creator-style content that feels native to the feed.
How do we report on Meta ads?
Meta's own reporting can differ from what your shop or CRM records, because of attribution windows and privacy restrictions. We compare Ads Manager data with your actual orders or leads, so decisions rest on numbers you trust rather than platform estimates alone.
Monthly reports cover results and cost per result, the creative and audience tests that ran, what we learned from them and which new ads we'll produce next. You also get a live dashboard for checking performance between reports.
How Meta ads works, step by step
Every step has a clear output you can review. Timing is agreed in your quote.
- 1
Offer and audience review
We look at your products, margins, past Meta results and customer data to decide which offers and audiences to lead with.
- 2
Pixel and Conversions API
Browser and server events configured, deduplicated and checked in Events Manager so Meta optimises on real purchases or leads.
- 3
Creative round one
A first set of hooks, formats and angles produced for Reels, Stories and Feed placements.
- 4
Launch and learning
Campaigns launched with simple structures so Meta's delivery system can gather data quickly.
- 5
Creative iteration
Winning ads scaled, fatigued ads replaced and new angles briefed from what the data shows.
- 6
Monthly review
Results compared with your shop or CRM data, with learnings and next month's creative plan.
Tools, and what shapes your quote
Pricing is based on your project and agreed in your quote. These are the things that move it.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Creative volume | More ads tested each month means more production work. |
| Ad spend level | Larger budgets across more campaigns need more management. |
| Catalogue size | Product ads for large catalogues need feed management. |
| Markets and languages | Each market needs localised creative and campaigns. |
| Tracking complexity | Server-side tracking and CRM integration add set-up. |
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| Platform | Meta Ads Manager, Commerce Manager, Events Manager |
| Tracking | Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4 |
| Creative | Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, Photoshop |
| Reporting | Looker Studio |
Common mistakes to avoid
What we see go wrong most often, and how a good project avoids it.
Boosting posts instead of running campaigns
Boosts optimise for engagement, not customers. Use proper objectives.
Running the same creative for months
Audiences tire of ads. Results fade without fresh creative.
Relying on the Pixel alone
Browser restrictions drop events. The Conversions API restores much of the missing signal.
Judging too early
New campaigns need data to stabilise. Decisions on a few days of results are often wrong.
Frequently asked questions
Do you create the ads too?
Yes. We write copy and produce image, video and carousel creative, and refresh it regularly, creative fatigue is a common reason Meta results decline.
What is the Conversions API and do I need it?
It sends conversion events from your server to Meta in addition to the browser Pixel, making tracking more reliable when browsers or ad blockers block the Pixel. We set it up for most accounts.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. Campaigns run in your Business Manager with your payment method, and you keep everything if we stop working together.
Is ad spend included?
No. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta; our fee covers strategy, creative and management.
Can you run WhatsApp or Messenger campaigns?
Yes, click-to-message campaigns that start conversations, which work well for services and local businesses.
Do you use influencers or UGC in ads?
Yes. Creator-style content often performs well; we can work with creators or produce UGC-style ads. See video ads and UGC editing.
How quickly will we see results?
Ads reach people as soon as they're approved. Campaigns typically need time in a learning phase before performance stabilises, which is why we judge results over weeks, not days.
Can you advertise to people who visited our site?
Yes, with retargeting audiences, subject to consent and privacy rules.
What if our ad account gets restricted?
We review the policy issue, fix the cause and request a review. Meta makes the final decision.
Is there a minimum contract?
No. Management is month to month.
Can you take over our existing ad account?
Yes. We review campaigns, tracking and creative history first, keep what's working and improve the rest step by step.
Do you manage comments on our ads?
We monitor ad comments and hide spam. Replies to customer questions can be handled by us or your team. We agree that at the start.
How many ads do you test at once?
It depends on budget. Smaller budgets test a few ads at a time so each gets enough data; larger budgets can run more variations in parallel. We plan the testing volume with you.
Can you connect lead forms to our CRM?
Yes. Meta lead forms can send leads straight into HubSpot, Pipedrive, a spreadsheet or your own system, so your team can follow up within minutes.
