Definition
What is influencer marketing?
Influencer marketing is a form of marketing in which a brand works with creators on social platforms to present its products or services to the creators' audiences, usually through sponsored posts, videos or long-term partnerships.
People trust recommendations from creators they follow more than they trust ads. That trust is valuable, and fragile. Campaigns fail when brands pick creators by follower count, script them until they sound like adverts, or can't tell whether anything sold. We choose creators by audience fit and engagement quality, give them room to speak in their own voice, and track every campaign to real outcomes.

How do we choose creators?
Follower count is the least useful number. We look at who actually follows a creator (location, age, interests) and whether those people resemble your customers. Then we look at engagement quality: real comments and conversation, not just likes, and whether previous sponsored posts performed as well as organic ones.
We also check for warning signs: sudden follower spikes, engagement from unrelated countries, past controversies, or partnerships with direct competitors. Smaller creators with close, engaged audiences often deliver better results per euro than large accounts, and are easier to build long-term partnerships with.
Creator tiers at a glance
Thresholds vary across the industry; these are common approximations.
| Tier | Typical followers | Strengths |
|---|---|---|
| Nano | Up to about 10,000 | High trust, close communities, affordable |
| Micro | About 10,000–100,000 | Niche reach with strong engagement |
| Mid-tier | About 100,000–500,000 | Wider reach with established content quality |
| Macro and above | 500,000+ | Mass awareness; higher cost and less personal |
Disclosure and the law
Paid partnerships must be clearly disclosed. Consumer protection rules in the EU and UK, and the FTC's guidance in the US, require that audiences can tell when content is advertising, through clear labels such as “ad” and the platforms' paid partnership tools. Failing to disclose can lead to enforcement against both the brand and the creator.
We include disclosure requirements in every brief and contract and check content before it goes live. This page isn't legal advice; for regulated products such as financial services, health products or alcohol, additional rules apply and should be confirmed with your adviser.

Tools, and what shapes your quote
Pricing is based on your project and agreed in your quote. These are the things that move it.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Creator fees | Paid directly to creators and vary with audience size, platform and deliverables. |
| Number of creators | More creators mean more research, outreach and coordination. |
| Usage rights | Using creator content in your own ads usually costs more. |
| Product seeding | Shipping products internationally adds cost and logistics. |
| Paid amplification | Boosting creator content needs a separate ad budget. |
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| Discovery | TikTok Creator Marketplace, Instagram creator tools, audience analytics tools |
| Tracking | UTM links, discount codes, affiliate platforms, GA4 |
| Amplification | Meta partnership ads, TikTok Spark Ads |
| Admin | contracts and briefs, shipping logistics |
Common mistakes to avoid
What we see go wrong most often, and how a good project avoids it.
Choosing by follower count
Large audiences that don't match your customers produce views, not sales.
Over-scripting creators
Content that sounds like an ad loses the trust that makes creators valuable.
No usage rights
Without rights in the contract, you can't reuse great content in ads.
Skipping disclosure
Undisclosed paid content breaks advertising rules and damages trust.
No tracking
Without links or codes per creator, you can't tell who drove results.
Frequently asked questions
How much do influencers cost?
Creator fees vary widely with audience size, platform, deliverables and usage rights. We propose a mix of creators to fit your budget and negotiate on your behalf. Creator fees are separate from our management fee.
Do you work with micro-influencers?
Yes. Smaller creators often have more engaged audiences and are more affordable, so they're a large part of most campaigns we run.
How do you spot fake followers?
We review audience data, growth history, engagement patterns and comment quality, and request platform analytics screenshots from creators before signing.
Can we reuse creator videos in our ads?
Yes, if the contract includes usage rights. We negotiate those rights upfront and set up partnership or Spark ads to run the content from the creator's account.
How do you measure results?
With unique links and discount codes per creator, plus platform analytics. We report sales, sign-ups, reach and engagement for each creator.
Do creators have to disclose the partnership?
Yes. Advertising rules require clear disclosure of paid partnerships. We include it in briefs and contracts and check content before publication.
Can you find creators in Albania, Kosovo, Germany or Switzerland?
Yes. We research creators in the markets and languages you're targeting.
Do you work with B2B influencers?
Yes, respected practitioners on LinkedIn and YouTube who reach professional audiences, often for webinars, reviews or co-created content.
What if a creator doesn't deliver?
Contracts set deliverables, dates and approval steps. If something goes wrong, we handle the follow-up and agree a fix or replacement where the contract allows.
Can you run gifting-only campaigns?
Yes. Product seeding without payment can generate organic mentions, though posting isn't guaranteed. It's a good way to find creators for paid partnerships later.
Do you handle shipping products to creators?
We coordinate addresses and timing; shipping is done from your stock or fulfilment partner.
Do you run long-term ambassador programmes?
Yes. Ongoing partnerships with a few creators who genuinely like your product often outperform one-off posts, because their audience sees repeated, credible recommendations.
What do you need from us to start?
Your goals, budget, target customers, product samples or access, any claims you can and can't make, and a contact who can approve content quickly.
